Renier Smit is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the staging, live events, and AV industries. Having joined Electrosonic SA in October 2011, Renier brings over two decades of commitment and expertise to his role. His career began with AC Entertainment Technologies, one of the world’s largest wholesalers, where he worked for eight years as an account manager for Africa, the Middle East, and the Netherlands. This role provided him with international exposure, extensive travel experience, and the opportunity to engage in trade shows and build relationships with global suppliers and clients.

Renier excels in maintaining and building client relationships, thinking outside the box, and solving problems creatively. Known for his ability to negotiate and close deals, he demonstrates strong leadership.
