Crestron has taken the decision to open their own sales office in South Africa. This is part of Crestron’s international strategy of direct distribution in every region.
Electrosonic SA has been distributing Crestron products in Southern Africa for the last 20 years. It is sad to see such a long and fruitful relationship coming to an end, but as we all know, change is inevitable.
Terrence Mann said, “Movies will make you famous, Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.” If you haven’t heard of Terrence Mann it’s because he chose to be good (he’s a multi-talented Broadway legend) as opposed to rich and famous.

The ABSA KKNK or Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees (Little Karoo National Arts Festival) is one of South Africa’s oldest and largest Afrikaans festivals. Held annually in Oudtshoorn it offers a platform for Afrikaans artists to present and interpret their art and culture of the Afrikaans community in South Africa. This year’s edition took place from 3 to 11 April and there was particular cause for celebration as it was the 21st KKNK.
In 2006 AV Unlimited bowed to the ever-increasing demand for intelligent lighting in their shows and invested in the Martin MAC 700 Profile Series to service their clients better. These 700’s worked tirelessly week after week, but some 8 years later the Brothers Ducray – owners of AV Unlimited - realized the time had come to invest in some new workhorses.
