It all started over a decade ago when a 12-year-old Matthew, accompanied by his father, stepped into Electrosonic SA's Live Events Products Division. Intrigued by the world of Martin Professional Lighting products he had discovered online, Matthew embarked on a journey of discovery that would shape his future.

Under the guidance of Bruce Schwartz, Director of Entertainment Lighting at Electrosonic SA, Matthew's passion for lighting flourished. From his initial purchase of 2 x Martin MAC 101s and a Martin Lightjockey Dongle. Not long after, he added a Martin M1 Control Desk and two Martin MAC Aura fixtures to assist in his tireless dedication to mastering the craft. Matthew's journey was marked by determination and a hunger for knowledge.

In his early years (sub 10 years old), Matthew's experimentation with lights knew no bounds. From installing floodlights in his garden to synchronizing lighting with audio shows in his makeshift studio, he pushed the boundaries of what was possible, all while honing his skills and expanding his repertoire.

Later during his school years, Matthew applied his burgeoning expertise in lighting to enhance various productions, illuminating stages with creativity and precision. His talent didn't go unnoticed, earning him recognition from teachers and peers alike.

Fast forward to the present day, and Bruce Schwartz is thrilled to welcome Matthew Mitchell to the team. It's a moment of pride for the entire company, a testament to the enduring relationships and connections forged over the years.
