Fogging and Sanitising Solution now available

Fogging and Sanitising Solution now available
Electrosonic has been a leader for many years in the supply of Smoke and Effect machines for the entertainment industry. The advent of COVID-19 has brought the use of this technology for sanitising purposes to the fore. We are now happy to announce that we have the Airguard Fogging and Sanitising Range available for purchase.
Fogging is not a new technology and has been around in many industries such as the food and production industries, for years. The purpose of fogging is to create and disperse a disinfectant into the air, to reduce the number of airborne micro-organisms present and to also allow the disinfectant to settle onto surfaces including the ones that may be difficult to reach, to eliminate bacteria and viruses. This is where fogging is a much more effective method than the physical cleaning of surfaces.

The advantage of the Airguard fogging and sanitising product is that the machines are simply placed in the rooms that need to be sanitised. The timer is then set (or the included remote control is used) and then the machine is left to simply fill up the room while you go have a cup of coffee. The room is then left to let the fog settle for a while, and thereafter the room is ready for use.

The active antiviral agent in the FLV and FLD disinfectant liquid from Airguard is Thymol. Thymol is listed on the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website as meeting their criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Furthermore, it has been tested and has proven effective against the Influenza virus and general pneumonia. So, it is an all-round good investment even post COVID-19 to keep spaces clean and healthy.

What makes the Airguard Technology different to other systems? This is where the Airguard system is different and excels. It has to do with the size of the particles liberated from the machine. The Airguard particles are about 1-2 microns (1-2 µm) in size, which are much smaller than normal fluids. The Airguard thermal foggers create the smallest droplets in the industry which result in them penetrating more spaces and places. Most ULV cold fogger droplets are usually larger than 20~30 microns, so the result from the Airguard Technology is significantly more spread and penetrative qualities than other cold fogging and ULV technologies in the market.

Electrosonic now has stock of the Airguard AG-800 and AG-1500 machines along with the FLV and FLD Fluids.
