CRESTRON TPS-6X WINS BEST CONTROL PRODUCT AWARD
The Crestron TPS-6X Isys Wireless Touchpanel was also a winner in the EMEA InAVation Awards announced at the annual Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2009) banquet in Amsterdam in February. This is the fourth award for the TPS-6X, which was released in July 2008.
The Crestron TPS-6X Isys Wireless Touchpanel was recognised by the industry as the “Most InAVative Control Product For Residential Use.” The TPS-6X is a slim, lightweight touchpanel designed for speed and versatility. While docked, the TPS-6X is a wired Cresnet or Ethernet panel that displays full-motion video; off the dock, it is a wireless 2-way 2.4 GHz RF with backlit engraving that makes it easy to read in variable lighting conditions.
The Crestron booth at ISE 2009 was packed with enthusiastic attendees who were impressed with all the other new products and technologies introduced this year, such as the award-winning ADMS (Adagio Digital Media System), Crestron iServer, the new MPC room controllers and the Crestron Green Light environmental control solutions.
The most overwhelming response however, was to the revolutionary Crestron DigitalMedia (DM), which is the only complete, integrated solution that manages, controls and distributes all analogue and uncompressed HD digital content over twisted pair or fiber. The core of a Crestron DigitalMedia (DM) system consists of matrix switchers, repeaters and receivers. Flexible and modular, DM matrix switchers accept virtually every type of signal and transmit them long distance as digital DM signals. Built-in exclusive Quickswitch technology pre-authorises HDCP keys and maintains a constant handshake for continuous, glitch-free HD switching.
