Electrosonic ranked top distributor of Elite Screens worldwide

Elite Screens Inc. is a California based projection screen company established in 2004. Although relatively new in the home theatre screen market, Elite has established itself with a product range that compares to other major suppliers such as Da-Lite, Stewart and Draper. They specialize in high quality, cost effective projector screens with a full range of portable, free-standing, wall-or-ceiling mounted and fixed-frame solutions for home cinema, business and educational use. Their products are distributed through its worldwide network of satellite offices and distributors across Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Electrosonic SA established relations with Elite in 2008 at the InfoComm exhibition in Las Vegas when Electrosonic's Bruce Genricks met Elite's representative and identified an opportunity to supply a niche market in South Africa.

Electrosonic immediately embarked on a marketing campaign of Elite products with its integrator and dealer network prior to placing an order, and when the first container of Elite screens and accessories arrived in January 2009, the positive response from professionals in the AV industry was overwhelming.

Joel Davies from Electrosonic was appointed as Product Manager for Elite Screens and, with the support of clients and staff at both the Johannesburg and Durban offices, has made Electrosonic the largest distributor of Elite Screens in the world.
