Prodigy™ General Purpose Hoists

The Prodigy™ General Purpose Hoists provide a simple, low cost way to lift heavy scenery or curtains for storage or for production.
These hoists resolve space and access challenges for schools, nightclubs, houses of worship and other places where there is no mean to access scenery or drapes overhead.

Stage & FOH Electrics Hoists

The Prodigy™ Fixed Speed Stage Electrics hoists provide a low-cost way to lift heavy lights for storage or for production. They are especially useful for front of house where the extreme low profile of the system allows the hoist and cable management system to disappear into the plenum in the smallest space requirements in the industry.

Houselight Hoists

The Prodigy™ Houselight Hoist can span the width of the auditorium, allowing houselights to be placed anywhere over a 105' width. The distro trough may be lowered (with a push of a button) for re-lamping or servicing the houselight fixtures. The unique cable management system allows this hoist to be easily hidden between the clouds of the auditorium ceiling.

Prodigy P2

The Prodigy P2 hoist scales new horizons and expands the possibilities of upper stage machinery systems. You can create a complete rigging system to fit your venue’s needs – simply and without expensive expansion costs. A complete package hoist, the 130-kilogram* P2 fixed-speed hoist is compact but has a 300-kilogram load capacity. Using five-millimetre lift wire rope, it offers 15 meters of travel with up to eight lift lines, load cell, encoder, and slack line detection. P2 is a smart choice for venues with medium travel heights.

Prodigy EXO Hoist

Raising the bar
The Prodigy EXO Hoist can be installed in almost any space, in almost any position. The unique external structure allows the powerhead to be mounted upright (standing on top of the grid), underhung (suspended below the grid or roof structure), or vertically (attached to the side wall of the stage). EXO Hoists may also be mixed in with counterweight tee guides on the side of the stage. This flexibility allows for denser placement of line sets so battens can be located as close as eight inches on centre, even if all the powerheads are located on one side of the stage. Prodigy EXO(-skeleton) hoists utilize essentially the same powerheads manufactured for traditional Prodigy Hoists, which permit the installation of a motorized rigging system in nearly any location that can support the weight of the powerhead and the forces created by lifting the scenery, lights, drapes and other suspended loads.
