This exciting addition follows the remarkable experience of Solid Rock's, Keith Mac Intyre and Billy van der Merwe at the Martin Roadshow in 2023. The Roadshow, organized by Entertainment lighting solutions provider Electrosonic SA, offered a platform for industry professionals to witness the latest advancements in lighting and control systems. During the event, Keith and Billy were among the many industry professionals who witnessed the revolutionary Martin Professional Aura PXL and ERA 150 Fixtures for the first time in South Africa, leaving them in awe of its cutting-edge capabilities.

The new Martin Aura PXL Fixture showcases a significant leap in lighting technology, boasting an impressive compact size and unparalleled capabilities. Functioning as a highly capable wash light, it offers an astonishing array of creative possibilities and unmatched precision. One of its most innovative features is its seamless integration into the P3 control family of products from Martin Professional. This integration allows for effortless mapping of video effects onto the LED Array down to a pixel level, unlocking a world of creative opportunities for various applications. The ERA 150 is a new generation small format wash light with an impressive zoom and output for its size.

Following their experience at the Martin Roadshow both Keith and Billy were unanimous the Martin Aura PXL & the ERA 150’s were the right fixtures to invest in. This investment was also underlined by the need to invest in a versatile fixture to bolster their dry hire stock.
