The Artscape theatre complex in Cape Town recently added to their lighting inventory with 4 x Robert Juliat followspots and 2 x Compulite control desks.

Robert Juliat is renowned for its impeccable quality, reliability and superb optics, and their Victor 1800W MSR followspot offers hot restrike ignition and a high performance double condenser optical system. The units ordered by Artscape were the first to be landed in the country.

With regard to the control desks, Nicolas Tilney and his team again chose Compulite because of the highly satisfactory performance of their current desk which suits their lighting programming requirements and because of the technical support they receive from Electrosonic SA. Their new desks are a Compulite Vector Blue and a Compulite Vector Ultra Violet - also the first to be sold in South Africa.
