CANAL WALK’S MAC2000s HIT 30,000 HOURS!

A central feature at the mall is the Food Court, which has a raised stage and floor space for promotions and other events. Lighting at the venue is provided by a mix of Martin MAC500s, MAC600s and MAC2000 profiles hung from a permanently installed overhead circle truss. Since day one, these fixtures have been maintained by Brent Thompson from Eden Electronics, which is contracted to Canal Walk for the maintenance of all the entertainment lighting products. A testament to Brent's meticulous maintenance of the equipment is the fact that the MAC2000s have scored more than 30 000 hours of operation and are still working as well as ever!
