CM LODESTAR TRAINING

Electrosonic SA recently became the only distributor outside the USA to be certified to service and repair CM hoists. The achievement followed a gruelling training course in August in which six Electrosonic lighting technicians receiving intensive instruction from Dave Carmack of CM Lodestar.

The 3 day course covered the mechanical and electrical aspects of the entire range of EM Entertainment hoists - from the Classic to the latest 2010 models – with the aim of ensuring that all work done on CM motors and hoists is carried out to specifications and that all parts are correctly inspected and adjusted so that hoists can be declared safe to return to service

Keith Pugin, Omar Sharfoodeen, Suren Lutchman and Joey Twala from Johannesburg and Nicolas Barnes and Peter Varley from Electrosonic’s Durban office all passed the final examination with flying colours.
