ELECTROSONIC LIGHTING DEMO ROOM GETS A FACELIFT WITH CM LODESTAR AND LITEC TRUSSING

When Electrosonic expanded its building about 5 years ago we were fortunate to have built one of the nicest lighting demo rooms in the country. At that stage Electrosonic did not have a trussing agency.  
 

A little over two and a half years ago Electrosonic was fortunate to obtain the sole distributorship for the superb Litec trussing range.  Although sales were slow in the beginning, the advantages of a Litec system and the very attractive pricing has made Litec a prominent brand in the South African rental market.

This is the perfect time to showcase the Litec in its full glory, in conjunction with Litec, Electrosonic decided to invest in putting up a Mini Ground support system in the demo room.  By installing the ground support system gave us the opportunity to showcase the CM Lodestar motors in action. (Electrosonic also recently obtained the sole distribution rights for CM in South Africa). Litec QX30 with sleeve blocks was used and the truss has been lit up with LED Parcans to accentuate the shiny new truss.

Customers can now get the full rigging experience and see the truss being lowered and hoisted just like in the field.  “This also allows us to remove and replace the fully Martin MAC range of fixtures from the rig very quickly when needed as backup units for our clients” says Bruce Schwartz, Entertainment Lighting Manager.
