Bruce Schwartz, Entertainment Lighting Manager of Electrosonic SA, explained the process. “We have been considering adding Kinesys to our inventory for a while, and in April 2014 we met with Kinesys at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, worked out a mutually beneficial agreement, and sealed the deal”.

This new partnership is a perfect complement to Electrosonic SA’s representation in South Africa of CM Lodestar, Litec and Milos Structural Systems. The addition of Kinesys completes the family, and means that Electrosonic SA now offers entertainment lighting customers a complete package of motion control systems.

There has never been a Kinesys reseller in South Africa, and Electrosonic SA’s plans to showcase their rigging-focused products; such as the Digihoist Controller, the Vector Control software and the LibraCELL load monitoring systems. Scheduled training programmes will introduce the South African entertainment industry fraternity to the full range of concepts and possibilities offered by Kinesys.

Kinesys’ philosophy and values are aligned with Electrosonic SA’s philosophy of using world class and trusted products. However, Kinesys also believes that great products alone are not enough, and need to be backed-up by skilled and passionate individuals. By introducing Kinesys to South Africa Electrosonic SA is realizing its vision of bringing value and innovation to the entertainment market.

Bruce enthused about Kinesys’ track record: “Electrosonic SA is proud to be allied with the company that was behind some of the most memorable events in recent years. Who can forget U2’s 360 Tour, the Oslo Eurovision Song Contest, and Robbie Williams’s Weekends of Mass Destruction Tour with its amazing LED screen movement? That was Kinesys behind the scenes!”
