‘Lira Live In Concert – A Celebration’ was a triumph.
In conclusion Robin said: “We wanted to create a benchmark for live DVD recordings in Africa. We had the artist, but we needed a production to match her strengths. We broke numerous records and defeated countless odds to achieve this landmark product.
Lira is at the centre of it all, and her input and performance on the day made our efforts shine and rise to greater heights!”
“A task such as this requires tremendous commitment from all concerned,” said Robin.
“We owe enormous thanks to everyone involved – Sony for being our partners in funding, and for the marketing and distribution, to Kaya FM, Carnival City and Fluid Media for promotion, and to the creative and technical crews who stretched themselves beyond what they believed was possible.
“I hope we can do this again. We'll learn from our mistakes and improve on our achievements. Congratulations to everyone who made this a reality for Lira and me. Thank you!”
