GOETHE INSTITUTE

goetha

Eight years after Electrosonic first supplied and installed equipment at the Goethe Institute in Parkwood, Johannesburg  they were contacted again last year to assist the Institute in converting an existing conference and cinema facility into a fully fledged theatre with the appropriate lighting.

Electrosonic SA selected a modern but cost effective LED system of Electron LED Parcans, controlled from a Martin LightJockey. The choice was made based on the Electron LED Parcans ability to meet requirements in terms of reduced power consumption, heat, colours and lamp life. Selecon Hui floods were installed as house lights, controlled from a preset station. Electrosonic SA also supplied a Strand 6-way wall rack and pre-wired lighting bars for all the fixtures.

Electrosonic’s lighting team completed the installation in December last year and the equipment was commissioned in January.
