KEMPTON CIVIC GET THE ELECTROSONIC TOUCH
After many years of neglect and budget constraints, the Kempton Civic Hall was given the go ahead to receive a lighting overhaul.
After being put out to tender three times due to administration difficulties, Electrosonic was fortunate to be awarded the tender.
The hall had a system which was in the region of about 15 years old, the wiring was in a very bad and unsafe state and the dimmers were literally falling apart. The control desk was more suited to be used as a paper weight and definitely not up the task of controlling the lights in the hall.
Keith Pugen and his team jumped in and removed the old control board, the old dimmers and a large amount of wiring. These were replaced with the ever popular Strand 24-Way Wallrack and a Strand 200 Series control desk. Additional Parcans and a service of the old fittings were done at Electrosonic’s workshops.
Due to the fantastic compact design of the dimmer the whole installation was done in little over a day with training provided on the new Strand desk a week later.
