MARTIN ADDS NEW LIFE TO CHURCH

After four years of product demonstrations and quotations, the Bryanston New Life Church’s decision not to make a hasty decision in purchasing lighting equipment eventually paid off! The church now has the first Martin MAC 401 Dual LED Wash moving heads to be installed in South Africa.

The Martin MAC 401 Dual LED Wash moving head has an innovative double-side design that gives it flexible dual functionality as a double washlight or beam reflective mirror.

In addition to the 6 x Martin MAC 401s, Electrosonic SA also supplied and installed 8 x MAC 250s, 2 x Jem 1800 smoke machines, 4 x high-powered Versa-Light LED Parcans, as well as lighting bars. The lights are run off a Martin Maxxys PC.

The new equipment has transformed the church. Where previously there was no lighting rig, there is now a stage with all the lighting equipment necessary to provide colour, movement and vibrance in keeping with the charismatic church’s mission to provide “great live music, art and other media that communicate a message and a teaching that is relevant to your life.”
