MARTIN LIGHTS UP MR SOUTH AFRICA & RMB

LP Unlimited - one of the fastest growing companies in local live event staging - had unlimited success using Martin lighting in the staging of two big events in the first quarter of the year  – Mr South Africa 2009, and the RMB party.

 
Mr South Africa 2009, staged at The Big Top Arena at Carnival City, hosted superb performances by Sean Eles, Arina de Witt, Eloise Cupido and the Ryno International Academy of Dance. Lighting design was by Brian weeks and the equipment included 8 x Martin MAC 2000 Profiles, 12 x MAC 550 Kryptons, 12 x MAC 600 Washes, 8 x MAC 250 Entours and 48 x Parcans, all controlled by a Martin Maxxyz Compact loaned by Electrosonic.

Earlier in the year, LP Unlimited staged the RMB party held at the SCC Pavilion. The function showcased the talents of Jade, PJ Powers and Leso Barlo, with lighting design by Brian Weeks and DJ Karsten. The Martin rig included 8 x Martin MAC 2000 Profiles, 12 x MAC 600 Washes, 12 x MAC 250 Entours, 8 x MAC 250 and 8 x MAC 550 Kryptons. Control was via the Martin Maxxyz.
