This year Martin Professional released so many new and innovative products that they did not wait for PLASA 2010 to reveal them, and Electrosonic was delighted to be able to take these exciting new products on an exclusive road show around South Africa for one-on-one demonstrations to clients.

In a whirlwind 7-day tour, the Electrosonic SA team, accompanied by Peter Dahlin from Martin Professional, was able to present 25 separate demonstrations to clients in Johannesburg, and Cape Town.  The tour continued without Peter Dahlin in Durban.

The grand reveal included the new M1 controller, MAXEDIA compact media server, Ether2DMX8 miracle DMX box, MAC401 LED wash and the showstopper, the MAC350 Entour. This little unit, weighing only 16kg, is a world first, being an LED light sourced moving head Profile that is 40% brighter than a standard Martin MAC 250 Entour and offers an incredible 25 000 hours of guaranteed output. Once maintenance and lamp changes are taken into account, the initial cost outlay becomes unimportant.
