RENIER SMIT JOINED ELECTROSONIC LIGHTING

Electrosonic SA is pleased to welcome the addition of Renier Smit to the Johannesburg Lighting Sales team.

With the demand for our lighting products getting larger all the time Electrosonic had to increase their sales team in order to continue to provide the level of service our customers are used too.

Renier was born and grew up in South Africa but left for the UK around 8 years ago. But as most expat’s do, he decided his heart was at home in sunny South Africa and decided to return. Renier had been looking for an opportunity in Entertainment Lighting industry in South Africa for a while, but the timing was just not right.

Renier comes with a wealth of Entertainment Lighting and Rigging sales experience, having spent the last 6 years at AC Entertainment in the UK. He was responsible for export sales to the Middle East, Europe and Africa. “What’s great about Renier is that he already has relationships with South African clients, did not need any product training and literally was quoting on his 1^st day in the office“, says Bruce Schwartz lighting division manager.
