South Africa’s Stage Effects steps up in an Ultra Way – Investing in the Martin MAC Ultra Fixtures

This investment marks another milestone in the long-standing relationship between Stage Effects, Electrosonic SA, and Martin Professional. For the past 20 years, Stage Effects founder Theo Papenfus and Director Erik De Bruin (Dominee) have been a loyal user of Martin Professional fixtures. From their initial MX-10 fixtures to the industry-standard Martin MAC Vipers, Stage Effects has relied on Martin's reliable and high-performance lighting solutions. The addition of MAC Ultra fixtures further strengthens their ability to handle even the largest and most demanding events.
A few years back, Stage Effects also invested in Martin MAC Viper fixtures, which quickly became a cornerstone of their inventory, delivering outstanding performance in a wide range of events. This legacy laid the foundation for Stage Effects to seek newer and higher-power fixtures, leading them straight to the door of the Martin MAC Ultra fixtures. Without even seeing a demo fixture, Theo engaged with long-time friend and Electrosonic's Lighting Division Sales Manager, Renier Smit. With assistance from Peter Dahlin from Martin Professional, Theo placed his faithand trust in the Martin brand and made the Ultra Step.
